Unilin

Founded in Belgium in 1960, Unilin produces melamine faced panels and specialist panels.

A globally recognised brand, Unilin was founded in Belgium in 1960. The story goes... Several families from southwest Flanders who were active in the flax industry began producing flax chipboards. They decided to call the company 'UNILIN‘ short for ‘Union de Lin’. In the 1970s and 1980s, the company rapidly expanded with the production of melamine boards, laminate floors & roofing elements.

The group employs 5000 people and has 20 production units.
