Here at Lawcris, we are pretty passionate about our sports, whether it be football, cricket or running, but if there's one thing we LOVE its rugby. You might remember one of our own, Dave Martin, recently went down under to play for the England Deaf team.

That's why we are very proud to be sponsoring Josh Berrey in his new position at Keighley RUFC! Lawcris will be sponsoring Josh personally as he takes on the immense challenge of Yorkshire Division one. If there's one thing tougher than a rugby player, it's a rugby player from Yorkshire.

Josh in action for his last team, Skipton.

We caught up with Josh to find about his history in the sport:

"Growing up from an early age I have always wanted to play Rugby, after watching my dad from a toddler represent for England and nationally. I started out at Skipton from the age of 6 and played with them to the age of 16 when I starting focusing on joining the Royal Navy.

I joined the Navy at the age of 18 and represented the Navy sevens team around the world before leaving at the age of 24.

I then played two seasons in Kent for a team called Whitstable, before returning to my hometown Skipton for a season.

This season I have made the switch to local rivals Keighley to test myself at a higher level. I enjoy any sport and have boxed and played football but rugby will always  be my passion."

We wish Josh the best of luck at Keighley RUFC. If you want to see them in action, you can check out the upcoming fixtures right here!
