This year, we decided to make our very own Christmas magic by bringing a tasty Christmas advert to the dinner table! Complete with traditional 1960’s prawn cocktail, homemade 1970’s paper chains and not forgetting the retro 1990’s cheese and pineapple hedgehog! We pulled out all the stops to create our festive Krono Kristmas ad.

As we are a business with lots of family links, we like to keep it in the family where possible! We enlisted the help of some of our staff and family members to produce this wonderful marketing campaign with a bit of a difference.

In the opening scene, we see young George playing with his new wooden toy car on Christmas Day. We go on to watch his journey through the decades... Next up is adolescent George fancying a bit of red wine, nabbing one of the trifles in his early 20’s, caring for his young family in his 30’s, then muddling his way through his own children’s teenage years.

The final scene is the present day, George presenting his grandson, Henry with the very same wooden car we saw George playing with as a child.

The sets were all built by our own fair hands here onsite, using a selection of Kronospan decors to show how you can create a retro look with contemporary decors. Here you can see each kitchen decade by decade.

The whole day was hugely fun and you would have never guessed that they weren't real kitchens. Well, the kitchens may have not been real, but the food was and we didn't want to waste any of it. Our warehouse staff and drivers were smiling from ear to ear with their goody bags. We don't even know what happened to the Vienetta, but it definitely didn't go in the bin!

And what is the moral of the story? Kronospan recycles material up to 7 times so your kitchen may have seen more Christmases than you think. Click here to learn more about Kronospan's "Circularity being a Reality!"

We really hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it! Click here to check it out!
