In the last four years, Kronospan have invested more than £200 million in their UK manufacturing base. The factory has been comprehensively upgraded, streamlined and future-proofed and the changes are evident everywhere, from pre-production through to finishing.
State-of-the-art production technology has been sourced and incorporated into the process. Much of this investment has been in the technology to produce consistent, reliable high-quality core boards.
Sustainably sourced, the recycled timber goes through a process of quality control checks, including x-ray scanning to ensure that the core material is clean, pure and stable.
