The drums were beating hard as the Lawcris Warriors went off to defeat and conquer last Saturday... and what a battle it was. 

The unruly warriors jumped over roaring fire, swam through infested lakes and climbed towering walls to be able to bring you this tale today. 

Little did they know of what lay ahead of them, only that a 12KM muscle killing journey consisting of 25 punishing obstacles had to be defeated to win a prize that you cannot buy... a yellow t-shirt and a can of ale... and some more Red Bull. Wait...?!

BUT there was another reason our warrior clan needed victory, because this victory led to the warriors raising over £1200 for St Gemma's Hospice. 

Thank you to everyone who helped our team raise money. Each donation really spured on our fierce warriors to complete this brutal challenge and in turn will make a huge difference to St Gemma's Hospice.
