Lauren did it! After a gruelling 13.1 mile race with relentless hills, it seems all the training paid off for Lauren, who finished in a time of 2 hours and 20 mins.
It was all smiles at the beginning!
The Leeds Half Marathon is organised by Run For All, part of the lasting legacy of the late amateur athlete and fundraiser Jane Tomlinson CBE.
Hills galore but still smiling at 4 miles
Leeds Half Marathon is known for its hills. The first 4 miles are brutal. However, the crowds were out in force on the streets showing their support to all the runners. We can safely say that the day was amazing, not forgetting the phenomenal community of volunteers! Simply astounding!

It turned out to be a fairly hot day, hotter than forecasted at the start of the week. We were impressed by everyone's endurance and the whole event was inspirational. The atmosphere at the finish was indescribable!

Everyone at Lawcris is super proud and very impressed with our Lauren and the £1,165.00 raised for Brunswick Organic Nursery. It will go a long way in continuing to help people with learning difficulties enrich their lives through work.
