10 highly on-trend Kronospan decors that find beauty in imperfection.

Keeping up with trends is hard! One minute you're getting your head around the idea of using those cold greys. Then all of a sudden designers are directing you towards those ruddy warm taupes and stone tones.

We understand your pain, and Kronospan does too. This is why they have developed an array of unique decors that are hugely in fashion with the 'imperfectly perfect' trend, all exclusive for any curve balls that designers throw your way this year.

These 10 distinctive decors are part of the Komplete Kollection, 63 exclusive decors. If you would like a swatch, please get in touch or speak to your sales rep.

The distressed look

Colonial Grange Oak

The Colonial Grange Oak exudes the distressed and weathered look, which has been influenced by repurposed planks.

Sand Grange Oak

Sand Grange Oak offers rustic and beautiful signs of age. It pairs amazingly with earthy shades of green or even blue tones for a more distinctive feel.

Platinum Grange Oak

The Platinum Grange Oak happens to be the most popular decor so far in 2022. This decor provides a delightful wealth of industrial heritage.

The end grain look

Raw Endgrain Oak

Raw Endgrain Oak has grown in popularity and is one of our best sellers. There is nothing else out there like it. There is also a lighter version, the Elegance Endgrain Oak.

It would suit a lot of bespoke interior design projects due to its calm natural characteristics, but what customers admire most are the unique markings, where the end grain flawlessly appears through the design.

The reclaimed look

Coast Evoke Oak

Taking their style from upcycling and reclaimed timber influences, the two Evoke Oaks within the Kronospan Kollection have a distinctive style. Both are full of character and feature woodgrain patterns and faults consistent with a life well-lived.

Above is the warmer of the two, the Coast Evoke Oak. Below, is the darker, almost monochrome Fossil Evoke Oak.

Fossil Evoke Oak

They have a time worn feel, featuring cracks and splits, with what appears to be black filler repairs. There is a depth of colour, of rusticity and character that brings warmth and harmony to traditional or contemporary living areas.

The weathered concrete and metal look

Rusty Flow

From the weathered concrete tones to the rusty metal or dark charcoal finishes, these surfaces combine a new textural effect that reflect light in a distinctive and unusual way.

Above is the Rusty Flow with its earthy, warm color, living in the realm of colours we see organically in nature.

This texture is exclusive to Kronospan. Unique and inspired by the trend for repurposing and upcycling in urban industrial design.

Iron Flow

One of the best sellers in the Flow range is the Iron Flow. A hybrid look of concrete and distressed metal.

Silk Flow

The lightest of the Flows is the Silk Flow. It is almost indistinguishable from real stone, and has a sense of warmth.

Charcoal Flow

The darkest and most exciting of the collection is the Charcoal Flow. With the trend for black in the kitchen, designers are using this decor as a backdrop . The textured surface provides a depth, yet the stone effect allows it to still have a natural feel which customers are really appreciating.

As shown above, when used with the distressed Platinum Grange Oak, the trend for the imperfectly perfect natural nature harmoniously blends together.

Concrete Flow

Finally, a decor we get asked about most is concrete. The Concrete Flow from Kronospan is one of closest finishes to concrete on the market. We see this going into a lot of shopfitting and hospitality spaces.

The Komplete Kollection swatch from Lawcris has incredible exclusive decors that are massively on trend.
